Food Pantry
The Food Pantry is in need of Peanut Butter, Jelly, Tuna Fish, Cereal, Canned Fruits, and Vegetables. We will also accept Coffee, Tea, Sugar, Pasta, Macaroni & Cheese, Cake/Brownie mixes, Spaghetti, Sauce, and almost any non-perishable food item.
You may bring your donations to the Vestibule of the Church before Mass or at the Rectory during office hours. Thank you for your kind generosity!

Giving Tree
Saint Valentine will continue the tradition of the Advent Giving Tree. This year it will again be online and in-person. Online donations can be made through RWJ Barnabas Health - Children's Hospital of NJ at rwjbh.org/NBItoydrive .

Children's Liturgy of the Word next weekend, November 20, 2022, at the 10:00 AM Mass, and will continue every other weekend.
Thanksgiving Day Mass will be at 9:00 AM in the Church.

Mission Statement
The Roman Catholic Community of Saint Valentine is called to be a visible sign of God's presence in the world. Through the celebration of the sacraments, especially through reconciliation and the Eucharist, we are sent out to proclaim and witness the Gospel by our lives.
We are therefore dedicated to serving others within our church, local communities, and throughout the world. By loving God, neighbor, and self, we deepen our response to the Lord and announce the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ.

We celebrate all Saints, we also celebrate all baptized and the saints that live next door.
"I like to contemplate the holiness present in the patience of God’s people: in those parents who raise their children with immense love, in those men and women who work hard to support their families, in the sick, in elderly religious who never lose their smile. All Souls Day
Mass will be on Wednesday, November 2, 2022, at 12:00 Noon in the Church.
We especially remember those who passed into eternal life this past year in the parish.
In the transept, a book of remembrance is available to write the names of your friends, family, or anyone else who have passed into eternal life.
You may also use the All Souls envelope and place their names on that. The envelopes will be placed on the altar.
